Asset Sales

There are various routes for disposal of assets and these can be varied to suit the client, timescale and the assets involved, as outlined below:

Auction

This is a popular route and has the advantage that it is fast from start to finish with an end point.  Online auctions allow for competitive bidding with items protected with suitably placed reserves.  We offer a comprehensive service: cataloguing; photography; marketing and the use of our mailing list; site viewings and clearance with sales hosted on our website through to settlement of sale with all paperwork handled by ourselves.

Private Treaty

This route is a good solution for items with limited purchasers.  We can market these items by various means to reach a wider purchaser based around the globe with the benefits of an extended time period.  This route can often achieve premium offers for equipment that might otherwise be scrapped.

Sealed Bid or Tender

We offer this route which is halfway between an auction and private treaty.  We offer this route where a client has an item with limited purchasers but it is sold within a defined time period.  It also has the advantage that a client can select a purchaser who is not necessarily the highest bidder should they not wish to sell to a competitor and forces purchasers to make their best offer.
